TO MY DEAR CAST AT ARCADIA

Dear Cast,

I’m writing you this public little note to say thanks in a big way. This production was a massive gift in a sea of wedding planning, moving, stress, and not very much feeling-like-a-playwright. Thank you for bringing my words to life with such delicacy, precision and care. You’re three brave, courageous actors with a happy openness to my own strange & brave text and it was wonderful to meet you and get to watch you perform my words. Thank you very much for your kindness to what I wrote. 

I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for closing night. You’re astounding and don’t ever forget it.
